The Good Times Best of Santa Cruz 2021, 2022, and 2023 award is calculated by online voting. The Good Times is a local newspaper that gives information on the town of Santa Cruz. Each year, the newspaper publishes “Best of” awards through online voting only by residents of Santa Cruz. The award is won by obtaining the most votes by the residents in any one particular category within Santa Cruz. Votes from the residents are tallied and the newspaper lists a both winner and a runner up with the most votes in each category. This award was given based on online voting by the public and promotions seen in the local newspaper. This award is given and created as a way for people within Santa Cruz to vote for their favorites businesses within each given industry. The newspaper lists dozens of names/business within each category where this award is specifically given to the top voted firms within the “financial” category. Award is created by using an online poll where Sentinel readers and the public weigh in on the best of everything throughout Santa Cruz County.
