Alison McClure
Founder & Wealth Advisor, Ohana Wealth Management
Too many women are left feeling alone with their finances — especially during life’s biggest transitions.
With more than two decades of experience in the financial industry, Alison McClure founded Ohana Wealth Management in 2019 to create a more personal, compassionate, and relationship-driven approach to wealth management. She specializes in guiding women through major financial transitions, including divorce, the loss of a partner, retirement, single motherhood, inheritance, and stepping into financial independence for the first time.
As a single mother and business owner herself, Alison understands firsthand the importance of financial clarity, confidence, and having a trusted partner during uncertain seasons of life. Her mission is to ensure women feel informed, supported, and empowered to make financial decisions with greater confidence — never intimidated or left unheard.
Alison’s approach combines disciplined investment management with thoughtful long-term planning, tax-aware strategies, retirement income planning, and ongoing financial education. She believes wealth management should feel approachable, collaborative, and deeply personal — not transactional.
Before founding Ohana Wealth Management, Alison spent years working within large financial institutions, where she saw too many people treated like numbers instead of individuals with unique stories, responsibilities, and goals. That experience shaped the foundation of her practice today: one rooted in trust, advocacy, education, and long-term partnership.
Over the course of multiple economic cycles and two major recessions, Alison has guided individuals, families, and business owners through complex financial decisions with steady leadership and thoughtful counsel. She holds Series 7, 65, and 63 registrations, along with a life and health insurance license, and works with clients nationwide.
Beyond her professional work, Alison is deeply committed to supporting women in her community. She is actively involved with Soroptimist International of Capitola-by-the-Sea and Women’s Educational Success, organizations focused on expanding access to education and economic opportunity for women and girls. She is also a contributing author to the bestselling book Shattering the Silence, helping raise awareness around domestic violence and supporting survivors through advocacy and storytelling.
Ohana means family — and that spirit of care, trust, and long-term partnership remains at the heart of everything Alison does.
