Women and Investing
Leadership, Advocacy, and Strategic Guidance for Women in Transition
Women today are increasingly the stewards of significant wealth — through career success, inheritance, business ownership, divorce, or widowhood. Yet many find themselves navigating complex financial decisions without having been fully included in long-term planning conversations.
That must change.
At Ohana Wealth Management, supporting women in transition is not a secondary focus — it is a defined area of specialization and leadership within our firm.
A Dedicated Focus on Women in Transition
With more than two decades in the financial industry, I have guided clients through multiple market cycles, economic downturns, and life transitions. Over time, a clear pattern emerged: women navigating change often needed not just investment management, but structured education, steady advocacy, and a trusted voice at the table.
As a single mother and business owner, I understand personally the weight of financial responsibility. Professionally, I have made it my mission to ensure women feel equipped — with clarity, confidence, and the strategic insight needed to make informed decisions.
I work with women who are:
- Navigating divorce or widowhood
- Managing substantial inheritances
- Selling or exiting a business
- Stepping into financial leadership within their families
- Seeking greater clarity and control over significant assets
This is not about teaching women how to invest.
It is about ensuring they are fully informed, strategically positioned, and confidently leading their financial future.
A Structured, Strategic Process
Our work together is both supportive and rigorous.
We begin by creating clarity — understanding your full financial picture, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring you feel comfortable and confident with every moving part of your strategy.
From there, we integrate:
- Disciplined investment oversight
- Tax-aware planning
- Estate and legacy coordination
- Income structuring and liquidity strategy
- Ongoing education and decision support
When other professionals are involved — attorneys, CPAs, trustees — I serve as a steady advocate to ensure your interests remain aligned and protected.

How We Give Back to our Community
Advocacy does not end at the office.
I am proud to serve as a volunteer with Soroptimist International of Capitola-by-the-Sea, part of a global organization dedicated to expanding access to education and economic opportunity for women and girls. Their mission closely aligns with my professional commitment to advancing financial clarity and independence. You can learn more about their work at www.best4women.org.
My dedication to elevating women’s voices is also reflected in my role as a contributing author to the bestselling release Shattering the Silence, a project of 9 women sharing some of their innermost struggles, points of healing, lowest moments, and highest accomplishments. Through my writing and volunteer activities I am working to raise awareness around domestic violence and supporting survivors.
These commitments are deeply personal. They reflect my belief that education, advocacy, and access to resources are foundational to long-term independence and generational impact.
